SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING SPECIALIST
Remote/Hybrid Role, Full-Time
Do you have a passion for marketing and love for going bottomless? Great, us too. We’re looking for a creative, edgy, in-house candidate who has both strong copywriting skills and cross-platform social media knowledge. This role will be hired to be responsible for one account with the possibility for growth is in the near future as we expand.
This role reports to our Creative Director and collaborates with a wide network of content creators, including photographers, videographers, and influencers. You will be empowered to utilize these resources to best produce a social presence that feels current and reflective of who we are as a brand.
While our team is extremely collaborative, this role will require a highly independent work ethic and critical thinking. Our ideal candidate takes initiative by bringing fresh ideas to the table without hesitation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop monthly content calendars from buckets of existing photography and user generated content
Plan, create, post and monitor all social media content
Conduct social listening and community management across all platforms
Expand our social media footprint
Identify influencers who are on brand and coordinate relevant collaborations/partnerships
Develop monthly social reporting and make suggestions based on findings. Measure ROI for social media marketing efforts
Create and track KPIs and implement strategy to reach them
Remain up-to-date on changing trends in the social media realm to develop, implement, and manage innovative ideas/promotions to drive greater relevance and engagement
Experience Requirements:
Experience in presenting ideas clearly and concisely, both written and verbal, while working within a cross functioning, collaborative environment
Must be driven and creative with strong organizational and time-management skills
Applicants need to be forward-thinking with the ability to simultaneously plan ahead and remain agile when faced with change
Experience fostering social media communities
Must have a proven track record of driving successful ad campaigns for various objectives
Must be familiar and have experience in paid social media advertising
Experience in developing social media strategy, driving customer service engagement, engaging brand fans, and reporting meaningful metrics
Skills in photography, video, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
